different types of student visas and their requirements:

1.     F-1 Student Visa:

·                 Purpose: For full-time international students pursuing academic studies (such as bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral programs).

·                 Application Fee: The fee for an F-1 visa is $185 USD.

·                 Interview Requirement: Applicants between the ages of 14 and 79 must attend a USA Student Visa interview.

·                 SEVIS Fee: Proof of payment for the SEVIS fee is mandatory for all international students.

·                 Passport: You must have a valid and original passport with a minimum validity of six months beyond your intended
period of residence in the USA.

·                 Other Documents: A printed copy of
DS-160 (visa application form) is also required.
 

2.   M-1 Student Visa:

·                 Purpose: For full-time international students pursuing vocational studies (such as technical or vocational programs).

·                 Application Fee: The fee for an M-1 visa is the same as for the F-1 visa.

3.   J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa:

·                 Purpose: For foreign nationals approved to participate in work-and-study-based exchange programs.

·                 Examples: J-1 visas are used by visiting scholars, camp counselors, au pairs, and research assistants.

·                 Sponsorship: J-1 visa applicants must receive sponsorship from an organization approved by the Department of State.
